BIO

Being born and raised in North Carolina, Amaris never really thought much about acting or modeling. She was raised playing sports due to her height and often participated in church activities. It wasn’t until her first year of college that she realized her passion for film. A friend of Amaris convinced her to take an acting class and it was love at first line. It was this same friend who helped Amaris to discover her love of modeling after doing a photoshoot together. Since then, Amaris has taken several college level acting courses and tried to be on as many film sets as possible for experience. She has had lead roles in films and television pilots such as Another Chance, Scienstars, and Fat Chance. She also has some commercial experience as a spokesperson for different websites and car companies. On the modeling side, she has done a few runway shows and many print jobs for photographers and local companies such as Valentía Ifuerza. She has not done much theater work, but in the summer of 2013, she worked at Universal Theme Park in the Shrek 4-D ride as a henchman who had to deliver eight minute spiels to an audience of three hundred people multiple times throughout the day. Not to mention staying in character whenever a guest was around. She is also currently working with a princess party company called The Wishing Well as Belle from Beauty and Beast, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and Jasmine from Aladdin as a way to constantly be working on her acting skills. Amaris is now working on the set of the feature film The Matchbreaker as script supervisor and as a supporting actress. She is not sure where the future will take her, but she knows beyond the shadow of doubt that she wants to be a part of every acting and modeling opportunity that she can. Her ultimate goal with film and modeling is to glorify her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With all the junk that is on television and in movies today, she desires to be a light that stands out and shines Christ. She wants to make wholesome films that uplift his name and be a light to everyone around her in the industry.
